Since the beginning of this year a few amendments according to the French packaging law came into force. The most important change is that the labelling obligation for sales packaging with the green dot is no longer mandatory. Producers, distributors and importers may choose now whether they want to put the green dot on their household sales packaging or not.
Furthermore the declaration and reporting process at the take back system Eco-Emballages will be simplified for most of the companies.
