The Slovak government tightens their national packaging ordinance and introduces some changes from January 2021 on.
Starting in 2021 all contracts between take back schemes and producers/distributors will have a minimum contract period of 2 years. In addition to that producers that cancel a contract will have to sign a new contract by 31st of October of that same year.
Possible fines of non-compliance with those new requirements range from 4.000 € up to 350.000 €.
