From 2022 on there are various changes in the French producer responsibility which affects most product streams.
Besides the introduction of Triman (we sent out information on that topic earlier) for packaging, WEE, batteries and so on the French agency Syderep will create individual unique identification numbers for each responsible producer (of WEEE, batteries, packaging, furniture etc.).
This IDU (identifiant unique) number will be issued for every product stream in scope – and will be renewed every year for each company. The IDU has to be shown on all invoices, commercial correspondence as well as French homepages/webshops.
As soon as the numbers will be made available from Syderep (should start in the first week of 2022) we will forward them to our clients.
On top of this the scope of products that falls under the French producer responsibility will be broadened once again – for example sport and leisure equipment (non WEEE) will be included as well. More specific details are expected in January – we will inform our clients as soon as we have them.
