According to several media reports the US company has to pay a fine of 12 million euros in Germany for non-complinace regarding the German battery law. This information can be found in the report submitted by the US company to the SEC for the third quarter of 2020.
The exact background for the fine is unclear, apparently it is about administrative failures against the the German Battery law.
There will be a lot of changes in the German Battery law in 2021.
