According to the Belgian take back scheme Bebat the country wide collection rate increased from 60,6 % in 2017 to 61,6 % in 2018. A total of 3208 tons of batteries and accus have been collected and the national collection targets of 45 % in Flanders and 50% in Wallonia/Brussels have been exceeded by far.
