Changes in the French packaging law – Green dot symbol forbidden on packaging material from 1st of January 2021 onwards

The French government decided at the beginning of 2021 that the green dot symbol on packaging shall be forbidden from  1^st of January 2021 on – whereas penalties will not become effective before 1^st of April 2021.

Products that were packed before 1^st of April 2021 may be sold 18 months longer – due to tolerance aspects.
