The Danish packaging take back scheme Emballageretur published an update on their pricing for the different types of packaging valid from Q4 2025 on.
Danish packaging prices have now been negotiated between municipalities, government, recyclers and take back schemes and are valid from Q4 2025 on.
Emballageretur will issue advance payment invoices through their “mother” company and administrative services provider Retur in August and November to cover the so called start-up costs of the system. This is not an additional payment but reflects the costs based on your volumes and market share.
Annual membership fees will be invoiced only once for all members – no matter if they are affiliated to only packaging or also WEEE and/or batteries – and is set to 1500 DKK per year.
