The Federal Ministry for the Environment in Germany is planning to release drafts for the amendment of the German EPR laws for WEEE and batteries (ElektroG and BattG) in the first quarter of 2024.
According to information from EUWID, the ministry is currently actively engaged in updating the German laws governing electrical and electronic devices, as well as batteries. The drafts are expected to be published by the end of the first quarter in 2024.
