As in almost all EU-countries the WEEE open scope will come into force from 15th of August 2018 on in the Netherlands.
Unlike most of the other EU-countries E-Bikes did not fall under the national WEEE law in the motherland of bikes.
From 15th of August on liable companies have to take care of the new recycling obligation for their E-Bikes.
